Nicolas Malvagna is a 27-year-old local of New Jersey. He had been captured and accused of attack.

Rexha fans rushed to bring up to the setting security the offender who had purportedly tossed the phone and Malvagna was removed by the security. As he was being driven out of the setting, fans yelled “that is attack.” Others began to boo and considered him an “a**hole.”

A NYPD representative said about the episode: “On Sunday, June 18, 2023, at roughly 2200 hours, police were advised of an attack that happened at the show space of Dock 17 situated at 89 South Road, inside the limits of the first Region. A fundamental examination on scene discovered that a 27-year-old male deliberately tossed a phone at a 33-year-old female entertainer in front of an audience, striking her about the face. The individual was arrested on scene and eliminated to the first Region for capture handling. The supported female was eliminated by EMS to an area medical clinic in stable condition.”

Rexha has four impending event dates booked for the week ahead. It was not known whether she would have the option to proceed with her visit in the midst of her wounds.
